Joey started his career in church ministry as a college & singles minister at his hometown church. He then transitioned to education teaching high school students in Birmingham, AL, and coaching football and track. Joey migrated to the business world and has had a 30+ year career in real estate brokerage, building & development.

 

In 2009, following several years of personal challenges, Joey began going to individual counseling and joined a divorce support group, both of which had a life-changing impact on him. The impact was so significant, that Joey began volunteering his time. In 2012 Joey began leading small groups so that others could benefit from the same type of life-changing support he had benefited.

In his free time, Joey enjoys riding horses, gardening, grilling, college football, watching classic movies, and spending time with his family.
